About Heather Downs Country Club
Established in 1924, Heather Downs Country Club rests upon 144 acres of lush green landscape in the heart of South Toledo. The stately Clubhouse feeling reminiscent of days past needs little additional decor as it alone has appreciable charm and effortless elegance. The entirety of the Clubhouse is 30,000 square feet and includes a downstairs restaurant for golfers, a members’ grill, a large ballroom for up to 275-300 guests and a small private dining room for showers under 40 guests named our Millie Benson Room. Our Grand Ballroom has panoramic views of the beautifully maintained golf course. We are open to the public and you do not need to be a member or member sponsored to have an event at HDCC.
Accommodations
Our new ceremony space has been in use since spring 2015 and accommodates up to 300 chairs. Enjoy the luxury of having your ceremony and reception in one location. Saturday receptions are subject to a minimum of 100 guests, dinner, and a hosted bar package. Fridays and Sundays have no minimums! All dates are “first come first served.” Unforgettable events start here! Explore our versatile hall rentals for any occasion.

My role as Event Manager here at Heather Downs gives me the opportunity to add special touches to each event. I take pride in the level of service our events staff offers and can honestly say I enjoy coming to work each day. I love meeting each guest and their families as we navigate through many special days. You can catch me floating around all of the spaces in the clubhouse, usually with a Dunkin iced coffee in my hand. I spend my time at home either with my two teenage daughters or my two rescue cats, Toby & Frasier. If you see me at the local thrift store or antique mall, make sure you say hi!
